"Have you ever seen me on a talk show? I’m the worst interview guest ever. I might get to a point eventually where I just say “Enough! I’m not doing it anymore.” Right now I do feel that it’s necessary to do these things. I consider myself an artist but I also know that without awareness of myself, it’s very hard to get jobs. And if you don’t get jobs you can’t get better jobs, and if you can’t get better jobs you don’t get to a position where you can then have control over what you’re doing. You’re at the mercy of everyone else’s shitty opinions and decisions. I just feel that there’s a necessity to that stuff and I like to find the joy in it.
I just want to keep people on their toes. I don’t know. I don’t really care much about fame or success. I think control is the long term goal. It would be nice to be in a place where I can be like Bill Murray and just have an answering machine and do whatever I want.”
Aubrey Plaza, from her NY Times Magazine interview
Clint: I go online. I look to see what people are saying about us. Sure, we all do. Every one of us. Except maybe, I don’t know…Thor. And maybe Wolverine. Mmm, I bet Wolverine does, too. Anyone who says they don’t is a liar. And my favorite topic of discussion—the one that I find the most amusing…is when people spout off about “who is worthy to be an Avenger?” “What does it take?” “Who are the real Avengers?” And all I can gather from the internet is that nobody is. Except maybe Captain America.

#this… is actually really amazing #Clint you beautiful creature you #a reminder that Clint is all sass when integrity is threatened #a lot of the Avengers come from messed up homes or have pretty shit lives in general #the fact they band together and take on shit the world is threatened with is pretty great of them #considering they’ve been kicked to the curb by life in a lot of circumstances #and especially considering not all the Avengers are ‘supers’ either
